As a key member of our events team, you'll handle a variety of business and social event inquiries, working with both local and international clients. Your role will focus on providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth planning and execution of all hotel events.

Key Responsibilities Providing daily administrative support to clients and internal teamsHandling email and phone inquiries promptlyAssisting with the preparation and processing of event paperworkManaging the preparation and processing of Banquet Event Orders and all corresponding paperworkCollaborating closely with the operations team to ensure seamless conference/event execution and coordination with F&B outletsMaintaining detailed records and diary managementConducting thorough post-event follow-ups with clientsCoordinating with event suppliers and third-party vendors as neededQualifications / Skills / Experience We're looking for what sets you apart and how you can elevate our business. For sales success, excellent communication skills, strong computer literacy, professional presentation, and attention to detail are essential.
Relevant qualifications or current studies in Marketing, Event/Hospitality Management, Business/Sales (preferred but not essential)Experience in event coordination and/or salesProficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with IVvy, OPERA, or similar software (a plus)Strong relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholdersA proactive approach to securing repeat businessProfessionalism, strong time management, and a drive to achieve successAbout the Business Rydges South Bank is part of EVT (Entertain, Ventures & Travel) Group, a proudly Australian-owned company with over 100 years' experience in hospitality, entertainment and leisure in Australia and New Zealand.
