Park & Cove situated atop of Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas offers dining experiences for up to 80 patrons with a philosophy that celebrates the people, produce, history and culture unique to the Sunshine Coast.PurposeAs our Conference & Events Coordinator, you will assist with the smooth and profitable running of the Conference & Events Department. The role involves enquiry handling, proactive and reactive sales, and collaborating with clients, suppliers, colleagues, and management to create successful corporate events and experiences.Primary ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with clients throughout the entire event process, from initial planning, site inspections, event coordination, to post-event follow-up.Coordinate logistics, including equipment, contractors, resources, and personnel involved in and supporting the event.Proactively address and resolve any issues that may arise during the event.Maximise revenue through pro-active sales techniques.Assist in event operations, when required.Skills and ExperiencePast experience in a similar role, demonstrated precision in coordination and providing exceptional customer service while exceeding expectations.Proficient in negotiating with suppliers, vendors, and clients to establish favourable terms that benefit all parties involved.You foster a can-do approach with impeccable attention to detail and exceptional time management skills.Previous operational experience in a dynamic food and beverage operation and proficiency in iVvy is highly regarded.Flexible availability to accommodate various shifts, including mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.At Accor, we welcome you as you are.
