About the role The Wear Surface Management team specialise in providing wear surface solutions and condition monitoring to mining projects, mineral processing operations and manufacturing industries. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the Mining Industry across many areas of site. This is a rare, full-time position based out of Perth. Site travel is based on shutdown maintenance schedules.
Reporting to the WA Facility and Site Services Manager you will be responsible for providing support to fixed plant infrastructure teams across the Pilbara, Port's and regional projects in WA. You will be trained by experienced team members, to assist with contributing to the overall success and efficiency of our Wear Surface Management team.
Key responsibilities: FIFO from PerthAttend regular shutdowns across WAFixed plant equipment inspections and reportingWear rate measurement and analysisCondition monitoringManage and oversee inventory for customersPrepare reports on inspections and installationsMaintain and build on the reputation of Imatech as a trusted advisor to customersSkills & Experience: Current mining/shutdown work experience highly regardedCondition Monitoring experience highly regardedFitter, Mechanic or Boilermaker background is desirableA strong, proven commitment to safety and excellent communication skills across all levelsCompetent computer skills i.e., Excel, Word and OutlookEWP, Working at Heights and Confined Space desirableWhy Join Imatech?
