You will primarily undertake property and infrastructure asset identification and condition assessments of schools to support the ongoing improvement and operation of the organisation's Asset Management Software System (AMSS). The positions are actively involved in the development and delivery of asset management strategies, property and asset data, policies, procedures and reporting by fostering innovation and driving continuous information improvement.Minimum Requirements:Experience in building facilities construction, operations and maintenance, particularly in relation to the application of strategic and operational asset management principles.A proven ability to use complex software systems, including asset management software.Strong attention to detail.High level oral and written communication skills.Demonstrated stakeholder management, negotiation, and liaison skills.Eligibility/Other Requirements:Hold a relevant professional qualification in Building/Construction, Engineering, Architecture or Project Management, orAccreditation with a relevant professional body recognised within Australia; orHold a relevant building degree; orHave significant building and/or infrastructure management knowledge and/or operational strategic asset management experience.Asbestos awareness card or a willingness to obtain - Asbestos Awareness Training and evidence of completion delivered by a Registered Training Organisation is required before commencement.Current Driver's License.Notes: This is a temporary position available until 30 June 2025 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. A merit pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future similar vacancies during this term. The role will work as part of the Strategic Infrastructure and Sustainability team.
