Mining - Operations (Mining, Resources & Energy) Mergent Group are currently seeking qualified and experienced Concreters to join their growing operation in Roxby Downs that pride themselves on being a diversified services organisation offering a multitude of services across the domestic, commercial and industrial mining services.
The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks including placing, finishing, protecting and repairing concrete for major civil construction projects.
About: Drive in / Drive Out – Shared Accommodation Provided.Opportunity to get your foot into the mining industry.Key Roles and Responsibilities: Read and understand drawings and specifications to undertake tasks.Prepare and set formwork to required levels.Operate a screed to level freshly placed concrete according to grade and depth specifications.Smooth concrete surface using either a hand trowel, long handled bull float or powered float.Cut joints and grooves in concrete with edging tools to help control cracking.Perform practical and heavy manual labour.Operation of plant and machinery including, but not limited to, bobcat and helicopter.Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces when required.Qualifications & Licences: Construction Industry White Card.Current Driver's License & reliable vehicle.Strong commitment to safe working practices.Relevant plant licence if required.If this sounds like the role and environment for you, we'd love to hear from you!
