Concrete Supervisor

Reports to: Project ManagerResponsibilities: Reporting to the relevant Project Manager - In charge of the construction and maintenance of concrete structures.Main tasks and duties:Duties to consist of running a Concrete team on a day-to-day basis.You must be able to work to tight Programmes and hit deadlines as required.Also be able to interact with Main Contractor's site representatives in a professional manner.You will be expected to liaise with a Project Manager to ensure all aspects of our Scope of works are carried out in a timely manner and with the utmost quality.Management of sub-contractors.Additional duties may include but are not limited to the following:Scheduling and ordering materials.Liaising with Estimators at final pricing stages.Supervising site operations and employees, completing weekly timesheets.Measure and assemble layouts for pours, screeding, floating and trowelling of concrete applying finishing and techniques.Maintain and inspect all concrete tools, equipment and vehicles to ensure proper safety and operation.Safely operating company vehicle while transporting materials to and from site.Meeting deadlines on project and ensuring sites run as efficiently as possible with a view to delivering defect free projects on time and on budget.Completing Safety documentation & complying with Job Safety Analysis for specific sites while understanding and enforcing OH&S and other site safety requirements.Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment.Responsible for quality of tolerances.Development of new concrete finishes and methods.Working from RL's and Datums.Must have minimum 5 years' concreting experience in large commercial construction projects.Must have excellent knowledge of concrete and managing a team of concreters on big pours.Understand and enforce OH&S requirements and other site safety requirements white card.Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Word / Excel & Outlook.Working knowledge of health and safety at site operations.Must have ability to interpret drawings.Must have strong knowledge of formwork and reinforcing steel.Authorities of the Supervisor:Management of site personnel.Other Information:Tyrone is a rapidly evolving innovative organisation undergoing fast past change.
