A respected, national civil construction company based in Western Sydney is currently on the lookout for a skilled Concrete Supervisor to manage and oversee operations on multiple job sites within the Sydney region.

This dynamic role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments. You will need to demonstrate excellent teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and a keen attention to detail, while ensuring your team remains focused and productive throughout various stages of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately measure and order required quantities of concrete.
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on site at all times.
Manage contractors performing site maintenance on equipment and machinery.
Supervise and coordinate the allocation of workers, machinery, and vehicles for daily operations related to concreting and formwork.
Lead and mentor teams, ensuring quality control and adherence to safety regulations.
Accurately record staff hours, material usage, and ensure contract requirements are met.
Monitor and manage project schedules, resolving any issues or delays.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure high-quality work and compliance with industry standards.
Liaise with project managers and engineers to resolve technical issues and report on project progress.
Manage inventory, ensuring timely procurement of materials and minimising waste.
Prepare detailed reports on daily site activities, including progress and incident reports.
Candidate Profile:
Ideally Over 5 years' experience in the construction or concreting industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong communication skills, with a proactive approach to fostering teamwork.
Experience managing concrete works on large-scale infrastructure projects such as tunnels, motorways, or commercial developments.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
Willingness to contribute to a positive team environment.
