The role We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Concrete & Quarry Manager to join the team in Katherine, NT.
Reporting to the Area Manager, this is your opportunity to become an integral team member at one of Australia's leading construction materials producers.
In your role you will become part of an energetic and fast moving business with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.

This role will provide you with the scope to deliver important short and long-term improvements, which are critical for our ongoing growth and profitability.
Responsibilities Drive a compelling work health and safety culture to ensure adherence with WHS regulations and requirementsSet clear expectations, mentor, coach and manage team performance against KPIsForge strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure market needs are metDevelop and drive business growth opportunitiesSet the standards for operational and financial performanceDevelop, implement andimprove operational processesWhat you will need to succeed Management and/or operational experience gained from the quarrying & concrete industryExperience with sales / customer service responsibilities (preferred)Strong Knowledge of the Mining & Quarrying Safety & Health Act & RegsProven ability to work independently within an established structureSound financial management skillsExperience leading and operating in a collaborative manner within a complex organisation structureExcellent communication skillsOur business Adbri is a leading supplier of premixed concrete, aggregates, and sands to the commercial, industrial, civil and residential construction sectors.
With plants and quarries, Adbri supplies in excess of one million cubic meters of premixed concrete per annum to its customers.
