About the company We are looking for a Concrete Pump Operator to join a highly successful concrete business in the ACT. They provide specialised concreting services to residential commercial builders and industrial facilities. Works are carried out using advanced methodologies and processes making them a leader in the industry.
About the role You will be responsible to safely drive and operate various sized concrete pumps and placing equipment, while ensuring all safety measures and precautions are in place and carried out. Projects range from commercial to civil contracts. Full time role.
Key Responsibilities for the role Safely and efficiently drive and operate concrete pump. Set up the system and clean pump after the job. Daily cleaning and general maintenance, small repair of machine and all pumping equipment, report any problems with the equipment. Ensure all OHS policies are followed both on site and in the yard. Complete daily safety checklist submit inspection and maintenance forms and job ticket. Accurate timecard of hours worked. Perform other tasks when required, operating other machinery when not pumping concrete. Skills & experience Previous experience operating high pressure line pumps and articulating boom pumps. Valid and clean class 3 drivers licence with air endorsement, white card, asbestos and silica awareness tickets. Knowledge of the concrete industry with experience in concrete and mix designs. Excellent communication skills, able to provide excellent customer service. Benefits Hourly rate negotiable, based on experience $45 to $55ph plus super and overtime. Variety of exciting projects, such as concreting residential basements, car parks, commercial spaces and a whole lot more.
