Hanson Australia is a leading supplier of heavy building materials to the construction industry through our network of over 300 quarry, ready-mixed concrete, logistics and support operations. An opportunity has now become available for an enthusiastic person to fill the role of
Concrete Tester/Agitator Driver.
Based in Port Hedland WA, you will report to the Plant Manager, the successful candidate will be self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, physically fit and possess a strong work ethic. You will have impeccable customer focus and be highly motivated risk aware and safety driven. This is a full-time role, commencing asap and will see you working Monday to Friday with overtime and Saturday/Sunday work according to business needs. Experience is preferred, however training and/or HR licensing may be considered for suitable candidates. This is a residential role with rental assistance or accommodation provided. Working hours will be Monday to Friday and most Saturdays. Please note, this is not a FIFO role.
In your new role with us, you will:
Perform concrete field testing within the Port Hedland area and surrounding country areas as required
Carry out equipment calibrations
Sampling and testing in accordance with quality assurance standards
Record keeping and maintenance of

Previous experience in CMT would be advantageous, but not essential
Qualifications in Laboratory Techniques preferred, but not essential

Strong literacy and numeracy skills (written & verbal)
Physically fit
Want to contribute to the overall performance of the Hanson business
HR Licence preferred but not essential, can provide on the job training.
Testing experience or a willingness to learn
