About the Role As the Concierge, you will be responsible for providing accurate information about Melbourne and surrounding areas, the facilities at Park Hyatt Melbourne, in-house functions, transportation and leisure activities. Whilst providing an excellent and consistent level of service to our customers in accordance with Hyatt International's brand standards.
Some of the responsibilities include To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Concierge Desk on a day to day basis. To be fully conversant with all services, facilities and functions within the hotel. To be fully aware of all activities within the Hotel on a day to day basis. To be responsible for the up-selling and cross-selling of Hyatt Loyalty Programs and all facilities at Park Hyatt Melbourne. To handle guest enquiries and requests via e mail, phone and in person and to have a thorough and up to date knowledge of Melbourne city, entertainment, attractions, activities, dining and its surrounding areas. Assist Front Office with basic functions Qualifications Previous work experience in a similar fast-paced hotel operations environment Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (with advanced proficiency of the English language) along with the confident ability to interact with guests via telephone, email and in person. Excellent knowledge of Melbourne and its city, entertainment, attractions, activities, dining and its surrounding areas Superior customer service skills along with excellent service resolution skills The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team The ability to work under pressure and possess great attention to detail An ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of 5 star grooming standards The flexibility to work on a rotating 24/7 roster, including public holidays A career with Hyatt opens a world of opportunities.
