Concession Store Manager - Yarra Trail

The role: Yarra Trail is looking for a Concession Manager to lead the teams at the new Yarra Trail David Jones Chermside site opening in October 2024. This part-time leadership role involves working a two-week rotational roster (24-30 hours/week) across select key trading hours. The Concession Manager will play a key role in maximizing sales, leading day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and building a customer-focused culture.
Responsibilities include coaching and developing the team, maintaining operational excellence, promoting wellbeing, recruiting and training team members, and building relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have previous concession or boutique store retail leadership experience, enthusiasm for creating authentic service experiences, familiarity with styling outfits, stock control and visual merchandising, as well as capabilities in training, coaching, and exceeding KPIs. Excellent time management and communication skills are essential.
