Concept Artist

Purpose of the role: The Concept Artist works closely with the VFX Supervisor interpreting a client's vision into a tangible, visual representation.
You can:Rapid prototype detailed concepts and pitches in collaboration with the VFX SupervisorInterpret abstract creative briefsSketch and develop concepts that are either realistic, stylised or abstract based.Research and build your own reference library as well as contribute to the studio's reference databaseYou have:At least three years of experience as a Concept Artist in a VFX Production environment.A Bachelor's degree in fine art or the equivalent combination of education and experienceA mastery of PhotoshopExperience with 3D programs such as Maya or ZBrush is preferredExperience with moi3D, 3dcoat or keyshot is advantageousAn advanced understanding of both human and animal anatomyA cultivated aesthetic eye for lighting, colour, form and compositionStrong communication and organisational skillsAn approachable, proactive, and accommodating attitudeAn innate desire to stay informed of current technologiesStrong time management skills and the ability to balance priorities under the pressure of a deadline-driven productionA team oriented mentality with a 'get it done' attitudeAn ability to thrive in a high-pressure environmentAn ability to take direction and implement feedback with a positive attitudePlease submit your application by clicking on the "Apply Now" button below to ensure our team receives it.
