Description Leidos has an opening for a hybrid Communication Security (COMSEC) Responsible Officer (CRO)/Tier II Network Technician to support the Intelligence Sector. The CRO/Tier II Network Technician is responsible for maintaining assigned COMSEC account equipment and KeyMat, as well as supporting the full-time TIER II/III personnel as needed.
The daily job duties include the following:
Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades utilizing the customer ticketing application (ServiceNow)Create and maintain a COMSEC file plan in accordance with (IAW) COMSEC policy, and an authorized COMSEC access listEnsure cryptographic equipment is keyed IAW the supporting key's effective and supersession datesEnsure TPI requirements are followed when handling Top Secret COMSEC materialEstablish a comprehensive COMSEC training program for all briefed individualsImplement standard network change requests and incident requests within standard timelinesMaintain accountabilities for all COMSEC material issued to their subaccountPerform configuration management functions such as update topology drawings, ensure asset management records are accurate, and inventoriedPrepare a written emergency plan detailing how COMSEC equipment should be handled in emergency situations; ensure COMSEC briefed personnel are properly trained on this documentProcess all transfer, destruction, & inventory documents in a timely manner; return paperwork to the program officeProvide support to Tier II/III network engineers for incident management and projects (site surveys, coordinate and install new equipment)Report any known or suspected COMSEC incidentsReturn all excess or faulty equipment within the appropriate time frames utilizing the appropriate security processesSupport the installation and maintenance of the client's Local Area Network (LAN)/Wide Area Network (WAN) devicesValidate the continuing need for COMSEC material held on the account by creating a Requirements LetterRequirements: Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with PolyThe candidate must have 10 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education.
This equates to a doctorate and 3 years, a master's and 4 years, a bachelor's and 6 years, an associates and 8 years or a HS diploma and 10 years.Must have certifications to meet minimum requirements for DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification requirements; level 3 requirements are acceptable as well:

Pay Range:Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
