Our client list includes companies in the industry sectors of Automotive, Defence, Maritime and the Americas Cup.About the Role:Full TimeNewcastle, AustraliaThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Composites Design Engineer to take ownership of projects and present their own high-quality work for design reviews. This role will suit an Engineer who is passionate about high-performance engineering and wants to learn new techniques.Detailed laminate design of composite components and structures.Produce composite designs and construction drawings.Perform first principle calculations to inform the design process, including preliminary laminate definition, adhesive joint details and fasteners.Represent Ellis Engineered at client meetings and conferences.Requirements:Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical).Experience in the composites industry.Experience in Finite Element Analysis.Be competent in the use of SolidWorks or an equivalent 3D Design software package.Be a concise and effective communicator using written and verbal English language.Have a proactive, passionate and flexible attitude.Have experience within a similar role, ideally within Motorsport, Automotive, Aerospace or a fast-paced Engineering Consultancy.Experience in the marine industry is an advantage.Must have rights to work in Australia.If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, please submit your application including a covering letter addressing the requirements of the role to ******
