Bell Textron Australia offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic aviation setting, a safe workplace, and provides opportunities for training and personal development.We are looking for a highly motivated Component Maintenance Technician - Hydraulics to join our Component Team at Clontarf QLD.What we offer you:Permanent, full-time opportunity working a 38hr week over 4 days, Monday to Thursday.Competitive remuneration.Training and upskilling opportunities to encourage ongoing self-development.Be part of a dynamic and innovative team.Experience in a high dynamic role in a diverse workplace.Job Responsibilities:Must possess and perform high working knowledge of component tear-down, cleaning, inspection, repairs, modification, testing and reassembly.Able to perform all aspects of component repair and overhaul operations in shop, on and off wing and possess the ability to prioritise workflow to a high degree of efficiency.Assemble, clean, disassemble, test and repair hydraulic related components.Work with other departments to ensure sub-components are processed properly and support any technical issues related to the cell.Investigate any findings from inspections and testing and perform repairs as necessary.Ensure careful handling of all components and parts to guard against damage or loss.Provide a high-level working knowledge of Regulatory AD's, ASB, TB, Service Installations, STC and third-party engineering orders.Assist, research and approve the customizing material inventory, planning, seeking engineering support and provide suggestion/technical solution as required.Work in accordance with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) documentation and airworthiness requirements.Optimize component repair and overhaul shop layout and processes.Actively assist with the development of CRO, quotations, proposals and compliance programs.Ensure proper safety measures and support of internal or mobile repair operations while protecting the safety of all staff, customers, and customer assets.Understand, record and implement effective, proactive preventative maintenance solutions.Maintain shop equipment, tools and publications to a high standard.Foster and participate in improvement of working environment.Work well in a team environment and understand cultural differences within a workplace.Understand and comply with company procedures and policies.The ideal candidate will possess:Experience in component maintenance activities including Hydraulic components.Sound knowledge of applicable regulations and standards.Previous experience in a CAR30 & Part 145 approved Maintenance Organisation.Previous experience in an organisation with a similar scope and size to Bell Textron Australia.A passion and drive to deliver to keep their customers flying.A passion for the Aviation industry.The ability to study while working.Excellent attention to detail.High level of accuracy and the ability to read and interpret technical manuals.Ability to work efficiently in a highly dynamic environment.Self-motivated.Dependable and reliable.Neat personal presentation.Quality and safety focused with a high level of attention to detail.
