With award winning products, our unparalleled proprietary software and exceptional customer support, we are driven to be the business partner that brokers can't imagine doing business without.Our Compliance team is credited with playing a key role in Connective's success story and we are now looking for a Compliance Support Manager to join our Sydney team.The RoleThe Compliance Support Manager is responsible for advising Connective broker members on all compliance matters in relation to the legislative and regulatory requirements within consumer credit – in particular the National Consumer Credit Protection (NCCP) Act 2009 and related Regulatory Guides. This role works with a portfolio of brokers to ensure adherence to Connective's compliance framework with a focus on education, training and analysis.The role includes the following responsibilities:Promote and embed a strong compliance culture through coaching and training of a member portfolioIdentify and monitor regulatory changes, standards and internal policies, ensuring all requirements are clear and understood by key stakeholdersUndertake risk and compliance activity e.g. approval of marketing materials, loan file reviews, investigations, compliance risk assessments and review members' compliance with credit licence requirementsMonitor and review ongoing compliance obligations of Connective's credit representatives and appropriately document findingsEnsure the regulatory requirements applicable to credit representatives and licensees are communicated with instances of non-compliance managed accordinglyPresent to external stakeholders on key compliance requirements and best practiceActively assist and participate in various compliance related projects and initiatives across the Connective GroupThe PersonAs a compliance professional, you will be structured, analytical and exceptional at relationship building. You are a compliance professional with a pragmatic mindset, thrives in a fast paced environment, and has a passion for supporting small businesses.
