Learn more about the role below.The Role:Help us keep the booze moving by:Take end-to-end ownership of the excise process for Casa Spirits & Cocktails, from day-to-day operations, quarterly reports, and final excise submissions to the ATO.Review and approve product labels, formulations, and supporting documents to ensure they meet relevant regulatory requirements.Evaluate ingredients and manage records to maintain compliance with Food Standards Australia & New Zealand (FSANZ) regulations.Prepare and maintain essential regulatory documents, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Product Information Files (PIFs).Gather and validate evidence to support product claims.Liaise with the QA & Compliance personnel of key retail clients to understand and meet their regulatory requirements.Stay informed of alcohol regulations within Australia and globally, supporting the expansion of Australian brands into overseas markets.Ensure Casa Spirits & Cocktails is compliant with dangerous goods code, local council requirements, South East Water, grants, WorkSafe, and liquor licensing.Provide guidance, advice, mentorship, and support for team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.Help drive a culture of environmental and social sustainability and responsibility.Requirements:Hold a valid full driver's license.Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance/regulatory affairs within the alcohol industry.Understanding of regulatory affairs, e.g., ACCC, FSANZ.Familiarity with ethical sourcing practices (SEDEX, BSCI).Go-getter attitude.Detail-oriented and passionate about working efficiently.What we offer:A fantastic culture of hard-working people who are passionate about quality, affordable, and reliable products.Yearly product allowance.Who should apply?We care deeply about diversity and inclusion at Casa Spirits & Cocktails, and welcome applicants of all types and from all backgrounds.
