Green Light Worldwide is currently partnering with a consulting client, seeking a number of KYC Analyst to grow their existing delivery team within one of the largest financial institutions in Australia.
As a KYC Analyst the focus will be on enhanced customer due diligence, transaction monitoring and other related KYC / AML activities.
Responsibilities: Reviewing cases as a 4-eye checker for adherence to EDD procedures.
Produce timely, high quality KYC profiles and address quality issues.
Decrease regulatory and reputational risk for the client by exercising sound judgment in approving/rejecting submitted cases.
Developing and implementing robust processes and procedures for ensuring compliance with regulatory and KYC obligations which make sense for the business and enable collation of quality data for monitoring and reporting purposes.
Highlight any audit and compliance issues proactively.
Raise quality issues with the KYC Leads.
Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with stakeholders at all levels Conducting investigations on potential suspicious transaction alerts effectively and prepare high quality dispositions.
Required: Good experience working similar role as a KYC Analyst for large financial institutions.
2 or more years' experience with Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD).
High level of accuracy and attention to detail and a good understanding of financial banking Strong communication skills and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with AUSTRAC, AML, FATCA and other regulatory areas.
Experience and working knowledge of Lexis-Nexis, World-Check, Banker's Almanac etc.
Experience working within a Transaction Monitoring (TM) would be highly regarded.
