Policy, Planning & Regulation (Government & Defence)Join this large government organisation as a Compliance Partner in the Enterprise Governance team. You'll provide expert advice, foster a compliance-focused culture, and ensure adherence to legislation, policies, audits, and frameworks.This role is critical in implementing systems that monitor and assure compliance across the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide compliance management subject matter expertise, guidance and advice to the businessSupport the Governance Branch with program materials, briefing papers, reports, and meeting minutesAdminister and maintain a central compliance register, Lexis Nexus, as well as a central enterprise Governance and Compliance register, ProtechtSupport the development, design and ongoing maintenance of a 'best practice' enterprise-wide governance and compliance management frameworkAnalyse, collate and prepare compliance management and related reporting to Senior Management and Audit Committee for monitoring and decision making purposesCoordinate relevant attestations to ensure compliance with the Victorian Government Risk Management Framework (VGRMF) and other government related compliance requirementsQualifications and ExperiencePrevious experience working in a compliance, governance or audit roleA deep understanding and knowledge of the public sector and relevant compliance obligations and requirementsProven ability to form effective relationships with key stakeholders at all levelsWell-developed conceptual and analytical skillsHigh level written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated high level of discretion, sensitivity, trust and pragmatismHighly developed skills in writing and editing with a strong attention to detailDemonstrated experience in building strong and productive working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the businessStrong reporting and presentation skillsShape a culture of accountability and governance excellence in a meaningful role.
