About the Role:
As the Compliance Officer step into a vital role with a Compliance Branch, where you will contribute to maintaining the integrity of some of Australia's key programs. These Compliance Officer positions focus on ensuring key stakeholders meet the requirements of the programs on offer. As a Compliance Officer, you'll work on compliance tasks that underpin the department's commitment to program integrity and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct compliance reviews, gather evidence, and recommend findings.
Take action to resolve compliance concerns.
Perform case management and related administrative tasks
Maintain accurate records in the case management system.
Analyse data and documentation to support review findings and guide actions.
Engage with stakeholders via phone and written communications regarding compliance reviews.
Draft compliance review reports, letters, internal briefings, and reporting documents as required.
Provide timely, accurate input to reports.
Assist in developing compliance plans to manage program risks.
Key Experience Required:
Experience in Compliance Officer, Regulatory Officer, or Case Management Officer roles
Prefer experience within a government environment.
Strong investigative skills in a compliance environment
Can demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Previous experience in making objective assessments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience preparing reports.
Ability to manage priorities effectively and work independently within tight deadlines.
Proficiency in liaising with diverse stakeholders
Ability in handling compliance issues with professionalism.
