About the RoleWe are seeking a Compliance Officer to join our team, with a focus on ensuring BET meets its compliance and regulatory obligations in alignment with the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators. This role is based in Victoria (VIC) and involves supporting the development of a Quality Management System (QMS) that aligns with best practices and delivers optimal outcomes for our participants.
Using a person-centred and active support approach, the Compliance Officer will:
Foster a culture focused on risk management by identifying, analysing, and mitigating risks.Coordinate incident investigations and compliance functions across the organisation.Support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in compliance with NDIS Practice Standards.Drive organisational readiness for audits, including preparation and participation.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify gaps and implement system and policy enhancements.Develop and undertake quality control processes in collaboration with clinical teams to ensure compliance.Promptly investigate and report any breaches of codes, standards, or regulations.Key RequirementsStrong understanding of the principles underpinning the NDIS and its impact on participants and staff.Manage incident investigations and ensure compliance across the organisation.Help deliver high-quality, person-focused care that meets NDIS standards.Prepare the organisation for audits and actively participate in them.Work with stakeholders to find gaps and improve systems and policies.Work with clinical teams to create and carry out quality checks for compliance.Quickly investigate and report any breaches of codes, standards, or rules.What We OfferA supportive and inclusive workplace culture that values innovation and teamwork.Opportunities for professional growth and development.The chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of the people we support.Join us in promoting choice, control, and safety for our participants while fostering a positive and compliant organisational culture.
