Compliance Officer

The candidate will engage with different departments to design and maintain effective compliance policies, procedures, and controls, whilst partnering with an external consulting firm to achieve essential internal audit objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform regular assessments to ensure adherence to compliance policies and identify areas for improvement.
Keep compliance programs up to date with the latest regulatory changes and industry developments.
Educate and train staff on compliance requirements and best practices.
Work with various departments to integrate compliance into business strategies.
Handle regulatory filings and prepare necessary reports for ASX and other regulatory bodies.
Communicate risks, compliance obligations, and internal control issues to senior management.
Maintain detailed records of compliance activities and coordinate compliance-related meetings.
The candidate must have a minimum of 4 years' experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a similar role within a publicly traded company, ideally within the ASX-listed environment. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, or a related field is required.
