Double R are on an exciting journey of growth and as such, a rare opportunity exists to join the Double R Head Office team in Rutherford as a Compliance Officer. In this well-supported role, the Compliance Officer will be part of an energetic and engaged Head Office team, and will be responsible for supporting, coordinating, and reporting on various WHS compliance activities across our branches.
This opportunity will ideally suit a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual. Someone who knows how to apply their excellent communication and coordination skills to get things done.
Key responsibilities: Develop, review, and update documentation, including policies, procedures, toolbox talks, and safe work method statements, in conjunction with internal subject matter experts. Manage and develop the Safety Management System to respond to issues, identify improvements, and ensure ease of use. Coordinate data and documentation to respond to tender and supplier evaluation requests. Maintain company licences and stakeholder compliance requirements. Report on WHS and compliance activities. Coordinate site incident/injury and Return to Work (RTW) process and monitor correct input of all data. Undertake periodic travel to our branches to engage with our amazing teams in NSW and WA. About You: Previous experience in a compliance, WHS support, or administration role. Certificate in Administration or Work Health and Safety. C Class Driver's Licence. Superior scheduling, planning, and recordkeeping skills. A friendly and positive attitude. Ability to influence and motivate people. Ability to problem solve and make effective decisions.
