Attractive salary packageFantastic career development opportunitiesHybrid working options, both in the Office and from HomeThe Reconciliations Officer will process the subsidy accruals and reconciliations related to government subsidy entitlements including reconciliation of subsidy accruals to subsidy payment statements and to cash received. The role will provide variance reporting and resolution to funding variances as well as provide expertise and advice in subsidy entitlements to enable the team to deliver subsidy accruals and reconciliations to a high degree of accuracy, within deadlines, and to maximise opportunities to increase subsidy revenue. This is a 6 month fixed term contract opportunity.
Duties and key responsibilities: Accurate and timely processing of funding accruals and reconciliations, including identifying and reporting opportunities to maximise revenueEnsure accuracy of funding setup and client data for funding to align with billing streams and Services Australia lettersProvide expertise and advice in funding entitlementsProvide relevant input to assist in the accurate and timely reconciliation of funding-related balance sheet accountsProvision of standard reports and management information to assist in the completion of the month end reporting packImplementation of process improvementsAdminister processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness and compliance with regulatory requirementsMaintain expert knowledge in Aged Care Act and other legislation related to funding entitlementsExpenditure according to Opal Delegations of AuthorityAll applicants must be willing to obtain a police clearance certificate via Opal HealthCare's police check system.
