Description SummaryService Stream's Telecommunications division are currently seeking a Full Time, Resource Optimization & Compliance Officer telecommunications team.About the RoleNature of position: Initial 6 Month ContractLocation: Epping Reporting Line: Contract ManagerResponsibilitiesComplete the day-to-day operations and ongoing activities of the of the Resource Optimisation and Compliance Team to facilitate the recruitment, onboarding and ongoing compliance of companies and subcontractors and their accreditations, insurances, inductions, and OH&S requirements.Understand and process any changes to compliance which have come via the Governance process to ensure all compliance roles are align to all Australian Industry standards.Attend various daily operational stand-ups to drive prioritisation, minimums operational delivery risk, and mitigate any escalation of activities through building relations both internal and externalAssist and communicate with operational and development teams to ensure all reporting requirements of the compliance data base are visible and meet operational needsEnsure and contribute to all ongoing SLA for the Telecommunication group around onboarding and compliance are metEnsure and contribute to the on-time delivery of client-based reporting Attend any required internal and external training on required applications Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all parties: internal, client and external field, to proactively understand any emerging trends, concerns, forthcoming demand, skill, or regional gaps.Ensure all written and automated communication is professional and up to date.Assist the Resource Optimisation and Complianceteam in procurement activities for all Operational projects and services.Conducting business to the highest standard and in line with the Service Stream Core Values.Develop strong working and collaborative relationships with the Operational Support Services management team to ensure knowledge, impacts and delivery strategy of the workforce are continuously alignedPatriciate and delivery quarterly strategic deliverables and monthly progress updates as part of the Operational Support Service management teamAbout YouEnsure all Subcontractor details and accreditations, insurances, inductions and OH&S records are routinely and accurately managed and kept up to date before allowing them to work in the field or on the network.Validate documentation and maintain sub-contractor files.Follow up outstanding documentary evidence direct with sub-contractors.Enter into and maintain the accuracy of the system and various systems/databases.Prepare professional correspondence.After direct follow-up, escalate non-compliance to appropriate levels.Assist with audits of the system/database and related files – electronic and hard copy.Ensure subcontractor records are current and systems are updated with all compliance requirements.Assist in coordinating training for staff and sub-contractors.Ensure that the filing system is kept up to date and maintained both electronicPrepare onboarding and information packs to prime and sub-contractors.Maintain reporting systems to ensure timeliness, accuracy of all contractor information.Assist the Procurement Manager in managing the resource projectsEnsure the end-to-end procurement process operates effectively to achieve onboarded sub-contractors ready to commence works prior to delivery datesEnsure Subcontractors understand and meet our standards/requirements for capability, capacity, availability, accreditations, safety and quality
