This role, offering 28 hours flexible days and a hybrid setup, is essential to upholding our commitment to regulatory standards and operational excellence.
You'll coordinate compliance activities across Engineers Australia and prepare critical reports for the Executive Team and Board.Location: Brisbane, Melbourne or CanberraIn This Role You Will Implement and maintain the Compliance Management Framework across Engineers Australia.Monitor and update compliance obligations in response to legislative changes.Prepare detailed compliance reports for the Risk and Compliance Manager, Executive Team, and Board.Coordinate the preparation of reports to meet the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act.Support the administration of the annual Internal Audit Plan.Work with internal auditors to schedule and manage audit activities.Track and report on the progress of audit actions and ensure timely resolution.Oversee the implementation of the Conflict of Interest Policy, ensuring declarations and management plans are completed where necessary.Please refer to the supporting documents to review the full success profile (position description).Here's What We're Looking For A solid understanding of audit and compliance best practices.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.Experience preparing reports for senior management.Experience coordinating compliance with the Modern Slavery Act, including report preparation to meet its requirements.The ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.Why work for Engineers Australia?
