About the role: As our Compliance Officer, reporting to the Manager of Breach Reporting, you will play a critical role in ensuring TSEG maintains its high standards of corporate compliance, contributing to a culture of accountability and sustainable business practices.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will support the business in navigating regulatory landscapes, fostering strong compliance awareness, and delivering impactful compliance initiatives aligned with The Star's vision.
A few of your responsibilities: Implement and maintain compliance programs to support corporate compliance strategies.Analyse compliance data to identify trends, determine areas of concern, and implement improvements.Compile statistical information and prepare compliance reports for management and external regulators.Assist in planning, developing, and delivering training on compliance and regulatory obligations.Ensure adherence to The Star's Code of Conduct, sustainability goals, and WHS requirements.What we are looking for: Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, policies, and regulatory requirements.Proven ability to analyse data, identify trends, and drive meaningful action.Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills to foster a culture of accountability.Be a self-starter and self-sufficient with the ability to work autonomously and in a team.Experience within Regulatory Breach Management principles/practices and Conflict of Interest management is desired.About you: You are a detail-oriented compliance professional with a passion for building robust frameworks and fostering a culture of accountability. Your analytical mindset enables you to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. With strong interpersonal skills, you excel in engaging stakeholders and delivering effective compliance programs.
