Compliance Officer

• 12 month contract
• Based in Barton, Canberra
• Paying up to $55 per hour + super
The Role
This role involves providing support to the security division within the department to coordinate security compliance and advice to the network of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Working at minimal supervision, you will make judgement decisions strategically, applying policies and procedures within the department.Using your strong communication skills, you will draft correspondence compliance and reports.You will work on achieving policy outcomes by building relationships with your stakeholders.Demonstrate integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism within the department.Experience
To be successful in this role you will need:

Knowledge within the Australian Government's policies and frameworks.Strong government record management or filing experience.The ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders.The ability to have a NV1/ NV2 security clearance.This role is offering up to $55 per hour + super.
As this is a federal government role, you will need to be an Australian Citizen and you must hold an active NV1/ NV2 Clearance to apply.
