About the Role We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Compliance Officer to join our Compliance Department on a full-time permanent basis.
As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for providing the highest standard of assistance and support with compliance management systems; this will include a breadth of work from investigating and analysing breaches to providing compliance sign off on marketing material, to ensure effective and efficient operation of the organisation.
This is a full-time opportunity based on a 38-hour working week ideally located at our Townsville Head Office or Brisbane Admin Office.
About You To be eligible to apply for this position you must demonstrate the following: A sound knowledge and understanding of financial services compliance obligations.
Ability to gain an understanding of how to interpret compliance obligations and documentation.
Ability to research information for the purposes of investigating cases including but not limited to the reportable situations.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyse data.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Financial industry experience (desirable).
Relevant university degree (desirable).
