Compliance Officer

The Compliance Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's adherence to regulatory standards and facilitating effective communication with business partners across various jurisdictions. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the ever-evolving AML landscape in the iGaming industry and providing recommendations to uphold compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
What You'll Do Compliance: Conduct business partners Due Diligence research, adverse checks and documentary analysis in accordance with established procedures. Perform case analysis to a high standard, concisely outlining all of the relevant information located and known to make recommendations for signoff. Identifying and escalating high-risk accounts at the earliest opportunity. Navigate public databases and internal systems to identify and verify due diligence information. Stay informed of and communicate updates or changes in the gaming regulatory environment to the management, making recommendations accordingly. Draft correspondence to business partners and other administrative bodies with whom the company collaborates. Other: Regulatory Incident reporting. Support the operational functionality of regulatory compliance, new business authorisations, prevention of financial crime and internal audit services. Aid in maintaining registers and records required by the relevant regulatory authorities and internal processes. Produce relevant returns and notifications to the applicable business partners, corresponding and meeting with any business partners as required. What We're Looking For Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy. Keen eye for identifying AML/CTF risks. Ability to analyse complex cases with strong organisational skills in order to balance workloads and meet deadlines. Previous experience in EDD/AML roles is advantageous but not essential. Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is a requirement. Ability to work well independently, performing in-depth research and reviews, and with others as part of a large compliance team.
