About the Company SA Portable Long Service Leave – Construction Industry (SAPLSL-CI) is a state-based industry scheme that administers portable long service leave entitlements for the South Australian construction industry.
Working with employers and employees, SAPLSL-CI conduct activities governed by the Construction Industry Long Service Leave Act 1987.
About the Role As the Compliance Officer, you will report to the Senior Compliance Officer and will interact with employers and employees of the construction industry to resolve enquiries, process registrations, conduct investigations and audits, and progress matters for legal actioning.
This will involve providing advice, reviewing and determining non-compliance, and progressing investigations into outstanding employer returns.
Duties  Perform complex retrospective calculations Provide clear and accurate information to employers, employees, and other stakeholders Progress relevant non-compliance matters through to legal proceedings Undertake transactional activities with excellent record keeping practices Requirements Demonstrated experience in governance or legislative compliance Experience in handling sensitive information with confidentiality Sound knowledge of the processes for assessing compliance within a legislative framework including the practices for documenting and investigating issues of a litigious nature Excellent MS suite skills with strengths in Excel National Police Clearance Culture & Benefits Small, supportive, friendly and professional team Rose Park location with onsite parking Encouraged and supported professional development Flexibility within full time hours and ad hoc working from home arrangements Modern HR practices.
