About the role: Reporting to the Director of Governance, Risk & Compliance, this newlycreated Compliance Manager role will ensure the organisation is up to datewith its compliance obligations and ensure requirements are understood bythe organisation and imbedded in Key Assets' policies, procedures andframeworks.
This role can be based in any of our offices nationally.
Other responsibilities include:
Monitoring and reporting on regulatory, legislative and licensingdevelopments within or outside of the organisation and advise on bestpractice in compliance control.Regularly review and evaluate KAAs policies to ensure complianceand efficacy, providing advice and recommendations where improvement isrequired.Provide advice and recommendations on compliance and regulatorymatters related to new and existing services.Develop and deliver employee training on compliance issue,where required.Assist in designing and managing control systems to mitigate andaddress compliance violations.A detailed outline of the core responsibilities and relevantqualifications/experience can be in located in the position description onour website by clicking the Apply button.
About you: Tertiary qualification in Law, Business Administration, orCompliance and Governance related fields.Prior experience in a similar role, specifically withcompliance, governance and risk in the NGO, child safety, family care anddisability (NDIS) sectors (or other relevant industry).Prior experience reporting to Senior Managers and BoardCommittees.Proven ability to engage and coach operational staff withtechnical guidance around compliance requirements, processes and systems ina national setting.Ability and willingness to work flexibly including, earlymorning and evening work as necessary to accommodate time zones.
