In this role, you'll be part of the Compliance Monitoring team, working closely with stakeholders to help the business navigate and meet regulatory obligations while making a positive impact.

The Role:
As a Compliance Manager in Incident Management, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that compliance standards are met across the organisation.
Reporting to the Head of Incident Management, you'll provide guidance on regulatory requirements, manage incidents, and develop insights for stakeholders.
You'll serve as a compliance subject matter expert, advising on various projects, reviewing materials, and driving the organisation's compliance culture.

Position Accountabilities:
Manage incidents throughout their lifecycle, including investigation, reporting to regulators, and remediation if needed.
Prepare analyses of incident reports to provide valuable insights to internal stakeholders.
Provide timely, high-quality compliance advice to internal teams.
Guide and mentor the compliance monitoring team.
Conduct compliance education and awareness activities to embed compliance management across the Group.
Review and approve materials as a compliance expert, including remediation plans, regulatory reports, and customer communications.
Participate in projects as a compliance expert, offering advice and approvals as required.
Identify and recommend improvements to systems, processes, products, and services while providing compliance guidance.
Compile and escalate compliance insights to relevant committees, boards, and forums.
Exceed stakeholder expectations by considering a range of compliant solutions to meet their needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven ability to interpret and apply legislation, regulations, and industry codes.
Strong leadership in incident management and compliance oversight.
Excellent drafting, communication, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
Ability to partner with senior stakeholders and navigate complex issues.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in compliance, risk, legal, or audit roles, preferably in financial services.
Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, or a relevant discipline; additional compliance qualifications highly regarded.
