We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Liaison Officer to join our team! Respect also has home care services in multiple states, and more than 700 units in different retirement villages and independent living communities.The Position:The Compliance Liaison Officer is responsible for providing support and assistance to the Chief Quality and Risk Officer to provide administrative and operational support with a focus on organisational resolution of complaints, feedback, responses to Government bodies, and making positive improvements for our consumers and clients receiving care.Requirements of the Role:Draft detailed responses to complaints, SIRS additional information, Coroners requests, and Assessment Team Reports.Identify, escalate, and manage clinical and operational risks.Use a range of complaint resolution techniques including open disclosure, early resolution, conciliation, and investigation.Develop positive and collaborative working relationships with team members and internal and external stakeholders to identify concerns and develop options to achieve resolutions.Work collaboratively with the Chief Quality and Risk Officer to identify areas for continuous improvement to support quality, risk, and compliance.Undertake trending and analysis of complaints and continuous improvement.Attendance at internal and external meetings as required by the business or at the direction of the Chief Quality and Risk Officer.Any other task as directed by the Chief Quality and Risk Officer.Requirements:Working knowledge of the requirements of the Aged Care Standards, Specified Care and Service Principles of the Aged Care Act, Documentation Standards, Residents Rights, Aged Care Funding Instrument, and other relevant legislation, regulations, and codes of practices.Must be a health professional with an understanding of the aged care operational and risk.High level ability to utilise information management and computer systems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to articulate positions with solid reasoning as well as empathy and understanding.Clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.Benefits:Competitive salary and entitlements.Pay incentives including not-for-profit salary packaging.Meaningful work in a purpose-driven organisation.A healthy and positive workplace culture.Learning, development, and growth opportunities.Discounted private health insurance.Our purpose:To care for the elderly in our communities in an environment of respect, value, and belonging.Our Values:Respect: Treat all people with fairness and dignity.Care: Look after and protect the elderly, and each other.Teamwork: Encourage, cooperate, and build trust.Courage: Do the right thing, even when it's difficult.Integrity: Be open, honest, and trustworthy.Innovation: Think differently to solve problems.Excellence: Drive quality to continuously improve.
