We are seeking an experienced Compliance Engineer to join our Engineering team at the Eliwana Ore Processing Facility (OPF).
Reporting to the Superintendent of Engineering, Reliability & Quality, this role is responsible for managing the OPF's compliance in meeting regulatory, Australian and Fortescue standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesManaging internal and external inspectors covering a wide range of plant and equipment including cranes, elevated work platforms, compressors, monorails, hoists, winches, accumulators, air receivers, air cannons, air oil separators, heat exchangers, pressure relief valves and storage tanks.Responsibility for developing, implementing, maintaining and reviewing maintenance strategies in compliance with legislation, standards, and internal procedures.Ensuring site is compliant with the Structural Integrity Management Plan (SIMP), Tank Integrity Management Plan (TIMS), and insurance requirements.Managing the sites Registerable Plant and Lifting Equipment registers.Resolving non-compliance issues found through inspections or audits through efficiently scoping and executing rectification works.Overseeing internal audits with Fortescue's asset management team and external audits and inspections from regulatory bodies.Qualifications and ExperienceRelevant Engineering Degree with a minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience working with registerable plant.Previous experience and strong knowledge of relevant Australian and regulatory standards.High attention to detail and proficient in risk assessment methodologies.Strong communication skills in liaising with external contractors to organise inspections and vendor management whilst on site.Experience with SAP and creating/modifying maintenance plans to ensure future compliance is maintained.On site fixed plant experience preferred.Our CommitmentFortescue celebrates individual strengths and team members are encouraged to bring their whole selves to work.
