As Compliance Coordinator, you will drive the culture and performance of the Compliance Team to provide a professional, responsive, and efficient approach to education and enforcement.With your excellent leadership, communication, and relationship skills, you will be able to work with your colleagues and our community to ensure positive outcomes as well as educate and encourage ongoing compliance with legislative requirements.You can multi-task, prioritise, meet deadlines, and improve processes using technology and innovative solutions.On a typical day this role will:Supervise, motivate and coordinate the Compliance Team, including Rangers, Animal Shelter, and Development Compliance.Educate and provide advice to our community, internal and external stakeholders.Investigate, gather evidence and enforce compliance of legislation relevant to the role.Develop, implement and review policies, procedures and work practices to support safe and efficient operations.Monitor and report on team activities and performance.Remuneration and Benefits:Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent, 35 hours per week.Salary (exclusive of super): In the range of $96,288 to $108,382 depending on skills and experience.This role qualifies for a Vehicle Allowance or Leaseback.Flexible work arrangements - hybrid working and flexi-time.Discounted gym membership through membership to Fitness Passport.Annual salary increase as per the Local Government (State) Award 2023 plus annual salary review.Long service leave after 5 years.Generous employee assistance program.Salary packaging options available through Salary Packaging Australia and Maxxia.Recognition through our annual awards ceremony celebrating and rewarding staff achievements.About the Port Macquarie Hastings Region:The region is one of Australia's most enviable locations.
