Role OverviewThe Compliance Business Partner partners with the business to promote the delivery of compliance practices in line with the Compliance Management Framework (CMF) and supporting processes to ensure that FPH is compliant with legal requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesImplementation of the Compliance Management Framework (CMF) and supporting processes to provide a structured approach to ensure FPH's compliance with the legal requirements;Engagement with compliance instruments and compliance obligation owners in the identification, analysis, evaluation and documentation of compliance requirements, and support the proactive storage of our compliance information in CAMMs Compliance;Monitoring of compliance obligations and oversight of event and breach management through operational implementation of CAMMs Compliance;Establish and maintain strong partnerships to foster a collaborative approach to compliance through being as a trusted advisor and providing guidance and support to enable compliance instrument and obligation owners navigate compliance requirements effectively;Improve compliance acumen, capability and culture across the business through business partnering, coaching and training to support compliance obligation owners implement effective line 1 compliance activities (local policies, processes and practices);Develop and undertake relevant line 2 compliance assurance activities (questionnaires, attestations, inspection and/or audits) in line with the Compliance Management Framework to identify and address potential compliance issues before they become critical;Collaboration with the Legal team to facilitate the continual updating of compliance obligations in response to legislative changes;Maintain CAMMs Compliance, analyse compliance data and provide key compliance information to enable business leaders to make effective decisions; andContribution to the preparation of compliance reports for the Board, Board's Audit Risk and Compliance Committee plus Management through the generation of accurate and concise compliance data, including key metrics and trends, and action plans to address identified non-compliance issues.About YouYour skills and experience will include;
Previous experience using and maintaining a compliance management system (preferably CAMMs);Experience in driving improvements to compliance management practices and culture across a medium to large business;Previous experience in conducting line 2 assurance activities whilst managing relationships throughout the process;Excellent stakeholder management skills, effective communication skills and ability to comprehend technical information that enable successful negotiation of key outcomes across multiple business areas;Demonstrated extensive analytical and problem-solving skills; andKnowledge of and experience in ISO 9001 Quality, ISO45001 Health and Safety and/or ISO14001 Environment management systems and processes (desirable, not essential).Flinders Port Holdings know that people are central to everything that we do.
