This opportunity The Group Compliance function is responsible for driving a consistent and effective risk and compliance aware culture across TPG Telecom through effective frameworks and governance mechanisms. The Compliance Assurance Manager is responsible for assisting with the implementation, and management of TPG Telecom's compliance management framework and maintaining oversight over the effectiveness of the framework through compliance assurance activities. The role will partner with stakeholders across the business, driving the compliance assurance strategy and ensuring processes are followed and providing coaching where necessary. This role reports into the Senior Compliance Manager. Responsibilities Manage key elements of the Group Compliance Assurance framework including development, implementation and maintenance of the relevant system, policies, and procedures to ensure TPG Telecom's compliance objectives are achieved. Lead assurance activities and workshops across TPG Telecom to engage stakeholders on key compliance issues and where required identify, drive and support business change management process (including due to legislative or regulatory change). Drive best practice across TPG Telecom and undertake assurance assessments to validate compliance, test controls identify deficiencies and assess ongoing effectiveness. Track and monitor all actions from the assurance monitoring activities to ensure timely resolution. Provide specialist SME advice to key stakeholders across TPG Telecom on managing its compliance obligations, risks, and controls across a range of compliance areas including coaching and developing capability in managing/monitoring business level compliance programs. Contribute to compliance reports and presentations to the Board and Executive Leadership Team that informs and supports executive decision making. Knowledge and experience 7 years+ experience in compliance, legal or related fields within a major corporate or consulting firm. Strong understanding of compliance management, including, assurance, controls and the three lines of defence. Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing new frameworks, policies, and standards in a complex organisation. Understanding of telecommunications legislations and regulatory requirements highly regarded. Ability to communicate with clarity, impact, and influence through verbal and written communications. Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience in dealing with senior management. Highly efficient with demonstrated ability to prioritise, schedule and meet challenging deadlines. Excellent communication skills and an independent thinker. Excellent interpersonal skills with a commercial and pragmatic approach. Ability to adapt to a fast paced and dynamic work environment. Reliable, open, and honest team player.
