Compliance and Risk Officer Full-time, permanent role – Inner-west NFP organisation.Meaningful work, NFP salary packaging, and updated offices with multiple amenities are some of the benefits.Learn from a passionate, committed manager and work in a supportive team environment.Salary on offer $100,000 + superannuation and access to salary packaging.Role Responsibilities You will report to an experienced Risk and Compliance Manager and a core focus of your role will be building effective working relationships across divisions/stakeholders and completing audit reviews and analysis of risk (as well as suggesting process improvements where applicable).In collaboration with the Risk and Compliance Manager, support with risk management across all organisational divisions.Complete assurance reviews and outcomes reports (including management responses to findings and recommendations) and track recommendations and escalations.Manage multiple risk management/compliance action plans, actioning and escalating issues and incidents when needed, maintaining accurate record-keeping in the risk management software system.Support users on system usage and coaching more broadly on risk and compliance management processes, as well as deliver training and coaching to improve internal risk management and to promote a rigorous internal risk, compliance and control culture.Essential Requirements You will be passionate about people and processes and be able to effectively communicate the importance of risk management at all levels.Tertiary qualifications in risk/governance, auditing, business, or similar as well as experience in Internal Audit, Risk and/or Compliance Management.Advanced skills across the Microsoft Office suite, tech savviness in learning new software.Analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot proactively when identifying and managing risk or developing risk treatment plans.Exceptional stakeholder communications as you work across the entire organisation to build relationships and advise in risk analysis and processes.Exceptional project/time management skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines without losing attention to detail.How to Apply To be considered for this position please apply now with your resume directly through the advertisement.
