This branch encompasses two key teams: Compliance and Project Assurance. The Compliance team focuses on establishing robust internal controls and managing records, while also offering expert advice on procurement and contract management. Meanwhile, the Project Assurance team is dedicated to implementing effective governance arrangements for projects, thereby increasing the likelihood of successful outcomes, enhancing project management capabilities across the organization, and improving visibility into project performance for our government client.

Key Responsibilities:Lead a team in delivering top-notch compliance and assurance services while enhancing the governance capabilities of our government client's teams.Drive the application of project management frameworks, risk management processes, legislative compliance, and business continuity/crisis management.Provide procurement direction to ensure adherence to Queensland Procurement Policy and oversee records management in line with the Public Records Act.Manage, review, and implement compliance and assurance policies, including the Fraud and Corruption Policy, Financial and Administrative Delegations, and the internal audit program.Offer high-level advice to the Executive Director of Corporate Services on risk management, internal controls, records management, and compliance matters.Foster a culturally capable team by activating our First Nations Strategy and promoting a culturally safe workplace.
