About the opportunity: We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Compliance & Advisory Lead to join the Finance team on a full-time permanent basis.
Reporting to the Accounting Advisory & Governance Manager, this position is responsible for:
Supporting a wide range of corporate governance and compliance requirements including APRA reporting. Providing on-going support to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements Supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses including system integrations Providing technical accounting advice to the wider network Supporting implementation of Finance Transformation projects The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience working in a large Compliance/Finance/Accounting function within a complex organisation; Or relevant experience gained within a Big Four firm. Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal Highly developed analytical skills and stakeholder engagement Strong organizational skills to manage conflicting and changing priorities. Experience in compliance activities and SOX/APRA reporting requirements is highly desirable. Experience with acquisitions, divestitures and legal entity corporate simplification is advantageous. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant area or similar qualification or equivalent knowledge and skills developed through professional experience.
