The opportunity Bupa's A&NZ Risk & Compliance team is growing! We are seeking three Compliance Analysts to support the implementation of compliance frameworks, managing regulatory changes, monitoring and delivering risk and compliance reporting, and improving the quality of compliance data in the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system. As part of the second line of defence team, you'll play a key role in actively assessing and managing compliance breaches, incidents, and exceptions to strengthen the risk and compliance culture of the business.
This position is offered as permanent, full-time and may be based at our Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney offices with flexible hybrid work arrangements available. How will I help? Support the implementation of the compliance frameworks including monitoring, oversight and reporting of the business' compliance.Develop and maintain compliance plans to ensure obligations are accurately identified and documented in the GRC.Work closely with the A&NZ businesses to ensure ownership of obligations, mapping of controls and processes and facilitation of periodic obligation assessments.Assist the A&NZ businesses to effectively manage regulatory changes including assessment of changes, contributing to business processes or practices amendments.You'll also play a key role in maintaining compliance risk registers including compliance risks and controls, linkages to obligations and incident information within the GRC.Support with the assessment, reporting and escalation of compliance breaches and incidents.What do I need? We anticipate you'll bring 2-4 years professional hands-on risk/compliance experience. It's preferable your experience has been gained within a regulated setting, health, care or insurance. You'll thrive when collaborating with your team, creating positive relationships as a trusted and respected Compliance Analyst.
In addition, you'll bring to the role:
A relevant tertiary qualification in Risk and Compliance Management, Law or Business.Developed understanding of risk management and broader governance, risk, and compliance frameworks with an understanding of the Australian regulatory environment.Experience working as an Analyst within compliance, quality, incident management, or process improvement.Experience in preparing reporting and insights to assist the business strategy and decision making.Strong analytical skills to convert information/data into meaningful management information.Excellent communication skills, with experience in developing engaging presentations.A curious mind with a consultative approach to relationship management and agility to prioritise workloads to support continuous improvement initiatives.Why work at Bupa?
