It's about going the extra mile, in the air and on the ground, to create authentic experiences that put our guests firmly at the heart of everything we do.What you will be doing:The Compliance Advisor will be responsible for maintaining Virgin Australia's regulatory compliance and supporting safety system strategies and objectives. This will include management of regulatory compliance related to air operators' certificates and central point coordination for CASA and regulatory services.Additionally, you will be responsible for:Assisting with the production of applications supporting all Air Operators Certificate changes.Provision of compliance advice and interpretation to Divisional General Managers and their staff in regard to policy and procedures.Develop and foster compliance awareness within the operational groups through continual liaison and interaction.Facilitation of aircraft, including registration, deregistration and induction into the Virgin Australia fleet.Assist with compliance assessments for new or revised operational documentation and or legislation as part of the Safety Systems process.Maintenance of the company compliance statement and associated systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.Maintenance of a central register of all Instruments, Approvals, Exemptions, Delegations or other such devices as issued by CASA or other regulatory bodies and used in support of the Airlines operations.Assist with the documentation of all processes associated with the management of the company's compliance activities as part of the Safety Systems program.Preparation and coordination of company activities relating to external audits.What you need to be successful:Bachelor's Degree in Aviation or demonstrated working experience in Aviation regulatory and legislation requirements.A high level of attention to detail.A passion for compliance and standards.Sound knowledge of the aviation regulatory framework environment, including CASA, ICAO and IOSA legislation and standards.Change and communication management exposure.Experience with Intelex or safety management/audit systems.Very strong administrative skills including intermediate level MS Word, Excel & Outlook.Excellent communication skills including report writing.Maintaining and developing effective stakeholder relationships.Equality rulesWe're all individuals.
