Job Description - Compliance Advisor (AML/CTF and Financial Crimes) (2400016R)About the roleThe AML/CTF and Financial Crimes Compliance Advisor will provide first line support for RACQ Bank's management of AML/CTF and financial crime obligations and non-legislative commitments. The successful individual will play a key role in supporting all areas across the Bank in the understanding and execution of AML/CTF obligations, Scams and Financial Crime obligations and non-legislative commitments such as The Scams-Safe Accord.Provide compliance advice in relation to AML/CTF and financial crime obligations across the Bank and complete assurance of the RACQ Banks operational processes against the AML/CTF Program and associated standards and procedures.Support the RACQ Bank to understand and implement regulatory change such as AML/CTF obligation changes or the Scams-Safe Accord.Work alongside second line risk and compliance to ensure ongoing compliance.Influence and educate leaders and staff to promote effective compliance practices and foster a risk-aware culture.Driving continuous improvement in compliance decision making, reporting and monitoring.About youMinimum 3 years of relevant AML/CTF experience, with a preference for expertise in compliance and/or risk.Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders through well-reasoned arguments.A highly developed aptitude for empathetic reasoning.Courage to speak-up regardless of position when things are wrong.Critical analytical skills to uncover hidden insights.Inquisitive mindset to explore challenges and drive improvements.Why join RACQ?It is an exciting time to be part of RACQ as we continue our transformation towards better, smarter solutions that deliver more security and prosperity for Queenslanders.
