Compliance/Academic Manager (CRICOS RTO Allrounder)Fusion College of Technology is a dynamic CRICOS Registered Training Organisation (RTO) based in Parramatta, offering programs in Civil Construction Design, Kitchen Management, Management (Learning), Mental Health, and Community Services to international students. We are committed to excellence in vocational education and are looking for a proactive, entrepreneurial-minded Compliance/Academic Manager to maintain and enhance our standards.
The Role Reporting directly to the CEO, the Compliance/Academic Manager will oversee both compliance and academic coordination to ensure Fusion College meets ASQA regulations and the new Standards for RTOs 2025. This role involves managing audit preparation, upholding compliance frameworks, and supporting teams with best practices in academic and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities Audit Preparation: Develop and implement audit strategies, organise documentation, and lead audit processes.Policy Alignment: Ensure that all college policies are updated and aligned with the latest Standards for RTOs.Compliance Training: Conduct training sessions to promote compliance awareness across staff and trainers.Monitoring & Improvement: Implement systems to monitor compliance, assess adherence, and identify improvement areas.Academic Leadership: Lead academic staff to foster a culture of educational excellence.Curriculum Oversight: Manage the development and compliance of educational programs and courses with CRICOS standards.Quality Assurance: Ensure all programs meet regulatory and quality standards, focusing on CRICOS compliance.Staff & Student Support: Oversee recruitment, training, and support for academic staff, as well as implementing student success strategies.Professional Development: Support ongoing professional development for academic staff to enhance teaching and assessment skills.Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement innovations in academic services, curriculum design, and teaching methodologies.The Successful Candidate Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Compliance, or a related field; relevant compliance certifications preferred.Minimum of 3 years in a compliance role within an RTO or similar environment, focusing on audit management.Strong understanding of Standards for RTOs and regulatory frameworks.Proficiency in compliance management systems, ideally with experience in SMS & LMS (aXcelerate preferred).Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Why Join Us?
