Lead a team of Complex Claims Coaches and Operational Specialists Build a culture of technical and operational excellence throughout the Commercial Claims team Brisbane or Sydney CBD location / hybrid wfh The Leader Complex Claims Support is accountable for enabling exceptional claim outcomes through the delivery of operational insights, complex claims technical support, and process excellence across the Commercial Claims business.
Using their broad understanding of the diversity of commercial claims processes and products, they will lead a team of specialist claims resources creating an ecosystem of robust and efficient process design, implementation, continuous improvement, and complex claims technical enablement; that enables front line teams to deliver consistently high-quality claims outcomes for our business partners and customers.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop and promote opportunities for change that generate efficiencies, drive productivity, and improve quality.
Build frameworks and programs that convert the claims management expertise in your team to uplift front line claims teams' technical competency, decision-making, and expertise in managing complex commercial claims.
Enable the financial success of the Commercial Claims portfolio through the design and delivery of process improvement initiatives across complex claims teams including reserving practices, technical quality framework execution, regulatory compliance, and service delivery.
Manage delegations of work across direct and indirect reports to achieve or exceed key result areas to ensure consistency of technical decision-making across all commercial claims teams.
Skills & Experience:
2 years frontline leadership in a claims or underwriting environment.
BPO management experience.
5 years complex claims management experience.
Claims management relating to underwriting agencies and binder agreements.
Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, underwriting practices, and product design.
