Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive strategic procurement decisions? This is your opportunity to step into a critical role within our Foodbuy business, where you'll deliver data-driven insights, challenge the status quo, and help shape commercial strategies. Leading a team of analysts, you'll provide high-quality commercial support and influence decision-making across procurement portfolios.
The Role: Perform product and category cost reviews, tender analysis, and deal structuring. Deliver financial modelling on product usage, pricing, and contract terms. Ensure performance tracking against key deals and contracts. Manage and develop the Procurement Analyst team (minimum 2 direct reports). Optimize team workflows to deliver maximum value to stakeholders. Lead the development of Tableau-based commercial models. Provide actionable insights on purchasing income performance and risks. Support budget and forecast processes with robust data analysis. Deliver cost-mapping and build bid cost response models. Provide recommendations to enhance contract profitability. Foster strong relationships with senior stakeholders, promoting a customer-centric approach. Communicate effectively across internal and external teams. The Person: Minimum 5 years in a procurement, negotiation, or contracting environment. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with intermediate/advanced Tableau, SQL, and Access. Strong experience in data modelling, visualization, and commercial insights. Exceptional communication, time management, and business acumen. Self-starter with a results-driven mindset and a passion for professional integrity. CPA/CA qualification or a tertiary degree in Finance, Business, or STEM fields. Experience in food catering or large corporations using ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
