This newly created role reflects the company's ongoing expansion and will support strategic decision-making, financial compliance, and process optimisation.As the company Accountant, you will take charge of financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, and cash flow management. You will collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team, providing valuable financial insights and analysis. Additionally, you will mentor a small finance team and work with external consultants to enhance financial processes.Key Responsibilities:Take charge of the annual budgeting process, monitor production costs, and introduce cost control measures, particularly within a project-based manufacturing environment.Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and the general ledger, ensuring the integrity of financial statements.Focus on cash flow management, with responsibilities for forecasting, liquidity planning, and mitigating potential financial risks.Manage and mentor a small finance team, fostering a collaborative and continuous improvement culture.Work closely with external consultants to enhance financial processes, supporting the business's growth and efficiency goals.What Are We Looking For?CPA or CA certification is essential.Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with project-based or construction accounting expertise.Advanced Excel skills and experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and hands-on approach.The Rewards and BenefitsThis is an exceptional opportunity to join a forward-thinking company with a strong focus on innovation and strategic growth.
