Company Accountant

We are seeking a talented individual to lead the accounting function for our large, Australian-owned Recruitment group, boasting five offices, turnover in excess of $150m p.a., with over 2,000 plus staff.Key Responsibilities:Oversee comprehensive financial reporting, including monthly P&L statements and management accounts.Manage all financial aspects of the group, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Engage with ASIC reporting and support external annual audits.Collaborate closely with the Directors and have direct access to the management teams.What We're Looking For:Experience in the Recruitment or Labour Hire sector is highly preferred.Strong understanding of the financial operations within a large Australian business.A dynamic, proactive individual with a track record of adding value in an accounting capacity.Degree Qualification in Accounting with 3 years minimum experience.Effective/efficient communication skills (verbal and written).High level of attention to detail and accuracy.Accountable, delivers on promises and follows through on commitments.An expert with Xero accounting software.Experience with using Fastrack will be an advantage.Compliance with regulatory and institutional requirements.Identification & assisting in the implementation of ongoing process improvement opportunities.Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end deliverables for Directors.Why Join Us?This is a unique opportunity to thrive in a vibrant environment with immediate access to essential information and a direct line to drive impactful outcomes.
